Balboa Island, Newport Beach, West Hollywood

Today we made our way from San Diego to Newport Beach/Balboa Island to Los Angeles/Beverly Hills/West Hollywood. It was beautiful wherever we were. Balboa Island was decorated in tons of flowers and it seemed very home-y. Newport Beach was very touristy, but we stopped for lunch here and I stepped out of my comfort zone at Urban Cafe, a Vietnamese cafe. I got a rice bowl and my dad got a vegetarian Pho soup for me to try. Both were so good so now I am able to eat Vietnamese food! We got gelato afterwards because I needed chocolate, but I could barely finish because I was stuffed.

When we made it to our hotel, the Kimpton Los Angeles/Beverly Hills, we had to make a pit stop at Urban Outfitters because my sister needed a "going out" outfit and thankfully we found something. We went to the Comedy Store with our dad and it was actually pretty fun, I'm not one who likes stand up comedy, but I enjoyed it. Later in the night we went back to the hotel and found a club to go out to, we wanted to go to a place called Henry's, but the address from that club took us to a place called the Peppermint Club. That place turned out pretty cool. After, we met the band and DJ and they showed us their studio and played us an original song that hasn't been released on Spotify yet, their called Ramsey Sound. It was super cool and they were even nice enough to let me play some of my own music on their huge sound system.
